Navigating the Web

There are two things that you need to remember when trying to navigate the web. The address of each site is known as an URL, which translates into Uniform Resource Locator, if you spell it wrong, the browser won't find what you are looking for. Number two is patience. The reason patience is listed is because the web is just a bunch of computers that are networked together. For example, if you were to look at a site in France, and were looking at it through a computer that is in Florida, that signal would have to go through at minuimum three computers before it gets to yours including all of the cabling in between.
